Thank you very much, you were way more helpful then google.
Bowel's can be loose with menses, that is normal especially after a baby. Keep an eye on it. If it becomes profuse especially with other symptoms listed above, get yourself seen.
Also, if the discharge develops a strong odor you need to be seen.
Okay.... As long as you can feel the strings, it's probably just your menses. The first few menses after baby can be darker and/or heavier. If you can't feel your strings you need to call the doctor on Monday or go to the ER tonight/tomorrow. If you start soaking a pad or tampon an hour or more; develop a fever over 101, chills or start vomiting; start passing clots the size of silver dollars or larger; develop severe pain that tylenol or ibuprofen doesn't help... I want you to go to the ER immediately. If the bleeding doesn't get lighter in color by Tuesday /Wednesday next week, call your doctor. My biggest concern would be a piece of retained placenta or the IUD migrating and creating issues (which is very rare). I hope this helps.
I haven't checked for strings, I will as soon as I'm done feeding baby
Yes, I've had cramping but also diarrhea so cramping Could be from that. I'm not sure why I even have the diarrhea, it's oddly been going on almost since the bleeding. No fever that I know of and I'm not beast feeding. A few clots, maybe dime sized when I pee but a good bit had been almost stringy and I quit bleeding two weeks after birth
Are breastfeeding exclusively?
Are you in pain? Have a fever? Any clots and if so, size please (dime, golf, etc). Can you feel your strings?
I had light pink spotting for three months after the mirena was put in but I would talk to your doctor especially if you had already stopped the normal after birth bleeding. Are you cramping?
