Can I ever get a GOOD night sleep!

Im 36 weeks and im starting to get frustrated!  I sleep a lot in the day to end up going to sleep at 4 or 5 in the morning almost every day.  While I sleep for literally a few hours (have to get my daughter dressed for school) I moan alot with discomfort.  Now, for some odd Reason I scratch the crap out of my body because I get very itchy at night. (Im even noticing more stretch marks on my arm from all the scratching)..... I'VE HAD IT!  Anyone else suffering from Sh*tty sleep? Any advice ladies!

I take a nap each day.  But at night I'm waking up to either use the bathroom or simple discomfort probably about 6 times each night.  It's not easy!

Thanks girls! I understand how you feel @aprilj93 ... I cant help but taking a nap for at least a hr everyday. I try to fight it but the sleep wins. I already had the blood test results to rule out anything and im good.... I will take ur advice with the aveeno lotion and stuff. Thanks @wishes2891

Have you tried limiting your naps during the day? If you're sleeping a lot during the day thatIis probably part of the problem. For the itching definitely talk to your doctor to rule out any medical cause other than dry skin and your skin stretching from the pregnancy. In the mean time make sure your showers/baths are not too hot, use a moisturizing soap or shower gel like Dove that is more moisturizer than soap and lotion up as soon as you get out of the shower and before bed try using a lotion with oatmeal in it like aveeno.

Ok I do not have the same issues but still cannot sleep to save my freaking life. Sooo frustrating! I have 2 large dogs that either snore like a fat drunk man passed out or wheeze while breathing, a 2 year old daighter who has had a cold, and just generally uncomfortable. I'm only 23 weeks I have no clue how I'll survive this next child
