Baby Necessities

My husband asked me today to start making a list of what we need for the baby.
It has been so long since I have had a new born I don't remember what I need to have before baby arrives.
I was given a crib and I have a beautiful swing, but those are the only two things we have for baby.

Can you ladies help out, what are some must haves that you can't live without and what are the things we can really do without?

On Saturday,  August 9th, all Babies R Us is having some sort of event dedicated to breastfeeding. Also, check with a local WIC office about supplies for nursing :)

Alot of parenting sites have checklists so you don't forget anything important.   I just registered at Babies R Us and they provide a checklist for the registry.   Although I think alot of their "must haves"  are not needed.   But at least you can get a complete list and pick what you feel are necessities.

Thanks...I was trying to decide what pump I want/need...because I will be going back to school.

Oh and I am due in January...living in the midwest

Must haves: diapers/wipes, burping clothes, stroller, carseat, comfy onesies, baby bottles, nursing pads (if u leak), swadlers :)
