Novembermommy babies don't get a flu shot. They dint get them until starting at two or three.
I don't get the flu shot pregnant or not. Not because I'm afraid of getting sick from it (its a dead virus, if you do end up getting sick it was either because you were exposed to Thr actual virus before getting vaccinated, or your body is reacting to one of the other 200 ingredients in it) I don't get it because I don't like the other ingredients in it being put in my body. I don't advise everyone to not get it, I think its a personally choice but I will say do your research before if your at all hesitant about it. There has not been enough research on the impact it has on babies in the womb for me to be comfortable getting it, and my daughter will not get it once she's born... I will also say I did get sick and it was not fun (I was 34 weeks) but I'll takey natural antibody over the vaccine any day. Not trying to start s debate and I don't think your a better/worse mom for having it or not having, just offering my opinion and sending a friendly reminder to do your research.
I never usually get one, but my doctor suggested it and I got it at my last appt two weeks ago (at 24 weeks). I was afraid of getting sick, but I didn't at all. Felt totally fine.
If you've never gotten it before I wouldn't recommend it pregnant.
I got mine 2 weeks ago. Not a huge deal.
Ok, besides me getting it so are my kids. Thanks guys
I got mine about 3-4 weeks ago. I had a sore arm/shoulder a couple days but besides that Ive been fine
I got mine a few days ago. I was at 19 weeks 4 days when I got the shot. I got a little sick, very slight fever and chills and I was exhausted. I fell asleep during dinner and hubby sent me to bed. I was feeling better and back to normal by the morning though.
