Ball induction to help dilate before pitocin?

Has anyone ever gone through the ball induction before pitocin , share the experience.

Do you mean the balloon?

How long did it take?

My experience was absolutely awful.  But, I had a series of unfortunate events during my induction.

They didn't give you pain medicine?

Not for the balloon portion.  I was induced at 39 week due to gestational diabetes.  They started with the balloon, which was incredibly painful and didn't help much, even after 12 hours.  I ended up having a c-section 40 hours after the induction began

I had it and it was so painful they keep it in until your dilated to a r I think and then it falls out! It's painful and very uncomfortable
