^ agreed! This is my second pregnacy. And I have GD with both. Eat lots of proteins and veggies, and portion your carbs. Baby needs that too. They should be sending you to a nutritionist and talking to you about it.  Just make sure you portion and exercise. Your body is just working in overtime and your babe is kicking back what s/he don't need. It stinks, I take insulin every night. But him being healthy keeps me going!

Don't cut out all of your carbs, it will make you feel awful! Eat what you usually eat just change portion size! I found it better to eat my proteins and veggies first then eat my carbs last. Go for walks after meals and don't snacks too soon after meals. Cut out sodas, and any good that is straight sugar. GD is hard and not fun at all but as long as you eat well and exercise after your meals your numbers should be fine! Good luck!
