They told me that my baby was going to be 10lb when he was born he was 5lb 6oz so they was wrong.
My baby girl was measuring bigger in the beginning and now is considered completely average. I do not have gestational diabetes either. The "weights" given with an ultrasound are done with measurements and are not always accurate. My cousins was told her baby was already weighing over 8lbs when she was 36 weeks and he was born weighing only 6lbs. So I wouldn't be worried at all.
Thanks for the advice will be talking to doc next visit
That is usually a sign of gestational diabetes but not always. I had loads of fluid but didn't have it.
Was there spot of fluid around baby.
I am not normally diabetic and i havent had my gluclose test yet but doctor didnt seem worried about diabetes
Scans by ultrasound for length and weight can be off by as much as an ounce (or a full week for measurements). It is possible your baby is a little bigger or if you are diabetic you can have a bigger baby.
