Yeah I don't know. I found it odd that well first they did it a couple weeks ago and then had me do it again even tho the other one didn't show anything. I will,be asking tomorrow tho because I've never heard of it needing to be done more than once
I did mine myself. It would be pretty difficult to do it wrong.
Ive done my last two my self the midwives find it easier and more comfortable for the woman to do it.
I never knew that you could it yourself until I was having a conversation with my neighbor about it she told she did it by herself they just give her instructions on how to but my doctor has always done it (6) pregnancy so it's new to me
Never had to do it myself but ive had it done the last two pregnancies and both times was positive and I had it done this last appointment so I'm expecting it to be positive again but its nothing serious unless u get treated at delivery so no worries :-)
With my first four pregnancies I did it myself... Now I'm at a new doctor in a different state and the doctor did it for me at 36 weeks and checked me and has checked me every week since.. Which is new to me
I've never heard of doing it yourself either. I've always had the doctor do it around 37 weeks.
My doctor did it at my first appointment (8 weeks). It came back positive so I will be treated for it at delivery
You did it yourself? Ive never heard of that. I just had my GBS done at my last appt. My dr has done it for both of my pregnancies. Ive never had to test myself.
I had a UTI at 8 weeks and my primary physician said she had to run the strep b test with my urine test. It was positive. She faxed it all to my OBGYN...She said it was procedure and I will be treated accordingly when I deliver. I hope this helps.
I did it by myself in the bathroom. Since its just a swab I'm glad it was me. I assumed it was normal since it's pretty straight forward.
