Yesterday 10/10/14 I gave birth to Bradyn James. 9lbs 2oz all natural. I went in at 6am got settled in and started answering question got the IV put in. 7am my Dr comes in and broke my water and inserted this pill that softens your cervix. As soon as he did that the contractions just kept coming and really didnt stop. I would get a contraction that lasted for a min and then get a min between. So like I said they really didnt stop. 10am I was 7cm dilated. I told the nurse that I wanted an epidural. So she went and put the order in but can back with awful news. He had just gone into a c-section and wouldnt be available for the next hr or so. So I said I would wait. Well I guess Bradyn didnt want to wait so within that hr I went from 7cm to full on pushing. To be honest I have no idea how I did it. The pain was unreal. Well he came into the world not in the best condition. He wasnt breathing for a whole 1min and 20 sec. I know its not long but when its your baby a sec can feel like a life time. After they got him breathing they took him away of course to do their test. After all the test were done. We got the green light and I finally got to hold him. He is doing great we are having a little trouble getting him to latch but I can handle that. Im just happy that im able to hold him.

Congratulations!!! Have patience about the breastfeeding, it's something both you and baby have to learn and work on. And great job pushing out a 9 lb baby!

Congrats mommy!!!! My daughter was born by c section because she flat line and didn't take a breath for 2 minutes after being born. I understand how scared you was. Good luck and hopefully he will get breastfeeding down.
