Anxiety

I'm 6 weeks pregnant with my first and I'm feeling quite anxious about everything. What are some of the symptoms I can expect at this point so I don't get too freaked out.

Yeah I was always scared.. I think that's just natural doesn't matter how many children you have. I'm pregnant with my ninth and I'm terrified of going into labor.. Lol... But I think that's just natural because I already know what to expect kinda, you know. I think you'll be fine. This whole thing is a learning process every time and its exciting :) well for me it is... I can't wait to meet my princess <3 I'm sure you are too. Just relax you'll be OK.

Hi Julie, the symptoms you described are normal. With my 4th my anxiety was so out of control they gave me anxiety medicine to take.... She was born at 26 weeks so I don't suggest taking medicine for any illnesses. Meditate to try and keep your anxiety at bay.I'm on my 5th now and that's exactly what I'm doing, little steps, breathe and think about calm happy things. Hope this helps.

Scared of symptoms. I suffer from anxiety as it is and I don't know if I am on high alert right now or these feelings of nervousness are normal. Upset stomach, feeling congested, feeling breathless.

I was very very nauseated and sleepy.... I was always tired!! All I did was shower and sleep. Lol... It was very hard for me o couldn't eat or drink anything but in my second trimester I got so much better.. If you do get that way eat crackers at least and drink lots of water.. Not all pregnancies are the same so hopefully you'll be one of the lucky ones to enjoy pregnancy from beginning to end. Good luck and God bless!
