I was told my Hemoglobo is 6.2 and I need to go to the er right away. What does that means for my baby? I'm scared and nerves at the same time

I wouldn't worry too much, they  are just making sure you have enough iron to keep you and baby healthy.

I got very low with my first pregnancy and my dr got very worried. I was out on iron pills immediately and had two more blood draws to make sure it rose to safe levels.

My OB told me it was more for my safety, if you're levels are too low it means you are at extreme risk of hemoraging during labor. So they want to get them up asap and keep them up.

So it's important that I go to the ER?

I'm not sure as far as what it means for the baby. But I work in a hospital and we usually give patients blood transfusions if they're less than 7. So they'll likely give you a blood transfusion.
