Books say one thing people say another. ...?

So I've been under the impression that at 19 weeks I am 1 week shy of being 5 months. We'll yesterday one of my fiance's customers gave him a copy 9 f the popular book, "What to expect when you're expecting" and thus book says the 5th month is from 18 to 22 months which means I'm already 5 months. I know this has been a debate before and I thought I had a grip on this pregnancy months thing but I'm confused again. If you know for sure, please offer some insight. Thanks!

At 19 weeks you would be 4 months and three weeks pregnant, but estimating your dates.. it's more so closer to your 5th month then your fourth.

It's an estimation thing really, Some obviously do say that 18 weeks is the beginning of your 5th month but that your not necessarily 5 months just yet. It's estimated to be more so in your fifth month rather then in your fourth month, get me?

Count back from your due date. If you're due October 1st then sept 1st would be 8 months, august 1st 7 months, so on and so forth

Every calendar is dif and so are ppls opinions. I'm about to start 30 weeks. To me that would be 7 1/2 months, but according to the pregnancy weeks calendar. 27 to 30 weeks is 7 months and 31 to 35wks is the 8th month. I thought 32 weeks would be the start of 8 months. Either way, I go by 4 to 5 weeks for a month. So when someone asks me I say 7 1/2months. I know pregnancy is usually 40 weeks and I only have 10 weeks left. Yay!

There is no for sure. Books say different things, doctors and midwifes say different things.  Also your common sense and own math will tell you something else. Just pick the one you like the most and go with it....
