how heavy is to heavy

I am a gym rat have been for many years, I life heavy and often and am a fitness model. I am getting all kinds of mixed answers as to how much I can safely lift while pregnant. Seems the danger is more towards hurting my back then the baby. As long as my core temperature does not get to high, is there really a danger?

I would definitely ask your doctor I think he would go by your current condition, how far asking you are, and your medical history. I've never had any miscarriages or pregnancy complications but by 20weeks my doctor really preferred I not lift over 25-30 lbs so I would definitely ask!

You can lift as much as you did before you got pregnant. Your body is used to that and therefore there is no stress on your body. However your body will let you know when too much is too much!

I would ask your doctor what they recommend. my doctor said no more then 50 pounds my queation was regaurding work and my toddler at home. It can get more dangerous latet on in the pregnancy so I would just ask and follow ur doctors recommendations.
