Ok am in a house I pay 775 in the worst area u can think of. Landlord owes me 3 month I payed rent but didnt leave their because it was not livable everything was a verbal agreement.pay 190 this month 100 on this month...anyways the mother lover took me ro court stating that I have not paid all of my rent...judge did not want to hear about the verbal agreement or how his charging me for last month rent when its not on my lease and how I had written statements that he refused to sighned..anyways I lost my case I went to legal aid they had problems with this person since 96.. I dont no if I would get git with a 72 hour notice but I found a apartment for 600 its 5 of us in a 3 bedroom 2 girls would be in one room my son in his own luckily am expecting another boy so they can share should I move or live in debt just because I have a house  and I cqn always work out another verbal agreement for a rent I dont owe reminder I owe now 3000  for court fees now they charging me water last month and months of rent that I thought was credited for the 3 months that I did live here...I paid march...may...jun... 190 to 500 in these 3 months on quotes they had a verbal aggrement of credit rent for those months that I paid

   If u dont understand please feel free to ask queation and ill answer...its hard for me to express myself while being pissed and crying and hurt ....and all full of emotions right now...I need advice since its only me and my husband who has to do for our kids and no babyshower we like to do things on our own...so we dont have to deal with family or friends to bash us orthrow things Iin our face

@keaij  I thought the same thing but I would never have money for the new baby I dont make much 3000 dollars plus the rent I would owe 25 dollars late fees... I wouldnt be able to pay gas... phone..electric..cable...food...car insurance my lease is month to month thats y I wanted to no shpuld I leave now.. then to wait to be living out of nothing or save myself and go smaller and cheaper....I kept thinking about about and I am breaking my head I am going to use more of the 30% of what I make just towards rent...and thank u for bringing it up they would probably go after me for the money...but I dont no if I can work out a deal with them without me living their...

Honestly to save the debt I`d just pay the rest down, you just never know if u do find something better u dont want this landlord to follow u. I think just for now work through this, you dont want to have more bills to bare.

I wanted to break my lease for something bigger but I dont want to pay here and move else where.

The economy here is poor anybody here in buffalo can get benefits alot more on snap benefits ...medicade ...the only problem is theirs hardly no jobs...everyobe here in buffalo qualify for ssi and social security to be honest...

I live in buffalo n.y the houses are cheaper mostly rent to own houses...u put down 2 to 3 grand for a house and pay 300 to 700 for morgage or take over payments @pioja503

I pay 450 a month for a two bedroom. Its not bad either.  You can find nice two or three bedrooms here for500.

God that soundscheap. Sorry. I live in Australia. Rents suck here. Even though our pay rate is higher...we pay out tonnes more. My partner and I live in DHA housing....defence force. We pay $ 270 a WEEK! This is subsidised rental. It would be between $400-$450 a week if it wasn't DHA.

I agree with emommyof3. Better to be away from someone causing you difficulties than to put up with them for the sake of a house. If you're not happy, it affects your whole life. Move and start again.

Wow where you get a house for 775? I live in Massachussetts and im playing 950 for a small apt of 3 bedrooma and is not so so nice.its ok.

I would move having a house is nice but you never know what the landlord may do next there is no reason to be in debt. As long as you have your family together it should matter if its a house or apartment. I went from having a nice three bedroom 2 story house to moving from cali to texas because my husband wanted to move back home. Well now I live in a 3 bedroom single wide trailer with 5 people will be 6 when baby is here luckily I have 2 girls and once baby is here 2 boys we are smashed but my husbands mom owns the trailer so we dont have to pay rent. Which beats being in debt.
