Breathing Problems

I'm 21 weeks and I have trouble breathing when I lay down to sleep at night. I haven't had a good night's rest in weeks. I have gained weight fast during this pregnancy but it is only 18pds and my weight isn't too bad for my height bc I'm 5"6" weighing 143lbs...maybe the weight gain could be  a factor. Im  to the point where Im scared to go to sleep bc of my breathing problems and I've developed insomnia. This has never happened in my life. Are any mothers having problems breathing when sleeping, no matter which position chosen to sleep in?

I have that problem also but i been readin parents magazine nd daily kicks... at night try taking a hot shower/ bath whichever 1 u like nd once u get out the change in tempertaure shuld help u go to sleep. When u sleep lay on ur left side i usually have the fan on to keep coo nd jst incase i cant catch my breathe i have a bottle of water next to me. If u still cant sleep layin on ur left side try puttin a pillow btween ur legs while u lay on ur left side i been followin their advice nd its been workin for me hopefully it does for u also
