Calling all my fellow PE mums!

This is my second time with preeclamplsia and feeling lonely. How are you all travelling? When are you expecting to deliver? Induction or Csection?
I'm travelling rough, started before 20wks this time, hoping to get to 28wks but aiming for 36wks, and second csection. Going for my second morphology scan today as first one showed some potential problems. Wish me luck. Sending you all positive thoughts for the rest of your pregnancy!

Thanks so much for the prayers ladies. The 2nd scan showed the issues were 'of no clinical significance' and not related to my health problems! Baby is doing great despite everything! Soooo relieved :-)

Thanks for the tips Jessi61982, and good to know you've got through this 3 times! My first was delivered at 35wks, started at 28wks, but this time I was already admitted at 18wks for it. Has your dr talked to you about long term consequences? Mine is saying no more babies after this, will struggle with hypertension later in life, and can't go back on the contraceptive pill due to damage to kidneys and liver. Just curious if he's just being extra cautious. Good luck for a smooth pregnancy this time!
And wishing you lots of luck Mamabadge! I hope they can control it soon for you. Never much fun at all being in hospital :-(

I'm 27 weeks and have been in and out of the on triage twice now so they can do blood work and get urine samples but I feel they aren't doing enough to keep my BP down :(. I have this crazy guy feeling this baby will be here end if September but isn't supposed to be here until 11-2 hoping to Hang in there and keep him cooking as long as possible

I am on my third pregnancy and had severe pre eclampsia with my first two so I'm at a very high risk to develop it during this pregnancy which honestly scares the hell out of me. I'm only 11weeks so far so my dr is sending me to a high risk specialist next month... If you are already showing signs of pe I wouldn't suggest you do any traveling and should stay off your feet as much as possible. My oldest was born at 34weeks and my youngest at 32weeks and both were emergency csections. Pe is nothing to play with so I wish you luck and pray for a safe delivery for you and your baby
