Did my water broke or was it pee

hey ladies? So I was taking a walk this is my 40 week and my due date is 9/14 so i felt pressure on my pelvis and all over sudden I felt like I needed to pee but since I was walking on the road I couldn't so i stopped walking stood on the side of the road and i wet my pants with a lot of fluid which I never pee like this even before. so I called my dr. She said get home and change into clean pants and if the get soaked within 15-30 mins then I should call her and head to the hospital but since . Have done that I'm still dry up two hours now no more fluid is leaking .  Should I assume it was just pee? Has anyone experienced this . Ladies please help me its my first baby.

Unfortunately it doesn't sound like it was your water breaking. You will continue to leak for several hours after they break. 40 weeks though and it should happen anytime... Hang in there!

When my water broke at 37 wks with my first I had the urge to pee, press and when I stopped peering water kept flowing.  When I realized it was my broken water I washed and threw on clothes, as it was 3 something in the morning but my fluid slowly leaked from then on so they got wet again. But Iike the woman above me I hope you be in labor soon. Healthy mom & baby!

If you're worried then go get checked. Better to be safe than sorry.
