You could argue that traveling very long isnt good for you or the baby once your farther along. Your legs will camp up and if your anything like me driving makes me more nauseous, so I just couldn't see myself doing that every day. Plus I think that might actually be considered discrimination since they would not be possibly moving you if you weren't pregnant. Idk, but I would definetely check more into it. Good luck! :)
I'm definitely looking into whether it is discrimination! It may be borderline, although they will argue that there isn't enough work for the both of us in the same.place whilst restricted- i'm sure the answer to.move us further away from home isn't appropriate! I Defo do feel more nauseous when i'm driving, although haven't physically been sick. I do worry about it affecting my concentration!
It is discrimination in my opinion. I would call fair work and ask them if it is in their opinion..
but id firstly visit your doctor and see if they will write a certificate stating long travels could be medically unsafe - nausea, cramps, and most importantly driving tired after a long days work!
I cant believe they are trying to transfer you just after you announced your pregnancy to them. That's horrible.
