I know lavender essential oil will help. I tried everything with my daughter. I got online and it said lavender essential oil. It's expensive but wonderful for many different things. It relaxes you also. You can get it at most herbal stores.
May be puppp. I've been suffering that the past two weeks. Keep the rash as dry as u can and pat dry with your towel instead of rub dry. Stick to cotton clothes. Oatmeal lotion (a non greasy one:important) and calamine help but you have to switch between the two. Homemade ice packs (the old Ziploc and cubes trick.) And pine tar soap (smells like hell) and you'll have to wait for a couple showers for it to really start to help. Definitely cool not hot showers. Almost all of them are only a temporary relief but it's the best of all the options I have found. And Benadryl is on the safe list that helps at night sometimes. Hope I could help. Good luck!
I had it with my first pregnancy. I know exactly how you feel. I could not stop scratching which caused me to develop stretch marks. I continued getting them for the first year of post-pregnancy.
