Any other mommas??

So hubby and i just found out that we are expecting baby #4.we have 3 sons ages 1,3 and 4.With my last pregnancy i had to have an emergency c section due to the fact that he was so large (9pounds and 23" long).Im so scared of having to have another c section.About 9 months ago i was diagnosed with colitis. And a few other gut issuses.Have any other mommas had something simular happen and were able to have a successful v bac?Its just im super scared at the thought of having another c section

Congratulations!  I have not personally had this happen, but I have heard many stories of successful VBAC's- the best thing to do is to make sure your doctor knows your wishes- you can find another doctor if they are totally against it.  It's important to find a doctor that will be supportive of your wishes BUT also will do so safely, ultimately, the VABC might not work out and you want your doctor to be sure to do the best thing for you and your baby either way it ends up playing out.  Good luck!

V-backs are very common.
My first was 10lb 12oz and they let me go natural. Unless you are a super tiny or have issues you should be allowed to have a v-back.

Just be firm that you want one, it also depends on your OB...my last one and current OB are both all about vaginal unless it's absolutely nessisary. But a few i interviewed c-section over 80% of their women/babies.

You might want to interview a few OB in your area and get opinions.
