FTM. 21 wks felt no movement or butterflys ?!

Really upsetting me that at basically 21weeks I've not felt the baby move or any butterfly feeling in my belly. Midwife said you usually feel butterfly's before the movements around 18weeks for first baby. But I've felt neither :(

I've been feeling mine kick since 15 weeks everyday. Don't worry to much it's not a good feeling when you're sleeping and he's woke anyways. But try laying on your left side, eating chocolate, and drinking Pepsi or coke. My ultrasound tech and doctors said that gets them moving all the time. And trust me it do.

I have an anterior placenta and have felt my baby just once every couple of days since 15 wks and since about 19wks I've been feeling him everyday.  I'm currently 22wks and he def let's me know he's in there.  With my first son I had a posterior placenta and I felt him everyday since 15 wks.

Try resting your hand on you stomach to see if you feel movements or kicks. Especially after you have ate a meal. My baby kicks a lot after eating sweets.

Yea don't worry...sometimes it can take longer especially depending on position of your placenta.  Ask you doc if its anteriorly placed?  Mine is and im 23 weeks and only butterflies that too since last week only. Anterior placed placenta acts as cushion between the baby and belly so takes longer to feel those movements! Keep calm n don't worry :)
