Im 37 weeks and a part of my tooth has come away in the last week, does anyone know if you can visit the dentist and get fillings and drilling done at this late stage?

My dentist won't do any dental work until after baby is born. He said some dentist do it but to be on the safe side he wants to wait until after I have him.

I think maybe go in to have it looked at and set up the next appointment. You shouldn't be getting xrays I think is what the concern is. Ask your ob too.

No you gotta wait..I was told by my dentist that when your 27 weeks plus...u should not get any work done until u have the baby. I guess 2nd trimester is the safest time.

I had a filling with local anesthetic, I asked my dr beforehand and he said it was fine. But that was at 18wks. Maybe give your dr a call and ask.
