what did you pack? ( I'm a ftm)

Hey ladies! I'm a first time mom and I have about 7 days or less to go and I just want to know what things have you packed for your hospital bags (baby, yours, and father of baby)
I want to be sure I take everything I can possibly need or want to use. Thanks!

Oh for your partner, change of clothes for after labour or incase you're there overnight, phone and camera as well as chargers for lots of pics, snacks if they wish n maybe a little wash bag to freshen up if you're in overnight. They don't really need much. If things are straight forward n baby is ok, you could get sent home within hours of giving birth x

I've packed for baby: 4 vests, 4 sleepsuits, hats, mittens, bibs, socks, pair of pj's, 2 coming home outfits (diff sizes),nappies, cotton wool, couple of blankets for the journey home. DOnt forget the car seat for bringing baby home! For me i've packed a few nighties, dressing gown n slippers, wash stuff n shower stuff, face wipes, socks, towel, breast pads, maternity pads, nipple cream,Nursing bra, disposable knickers, underwear, brush n bobbles. Snack wise, isotonic or sports drinks are supposed to be good as they keep your energy levels up for labour. You can take things like fruit, or snack bars, biscuits, whatever you fancy really! Most people feel sick in labour but u could be there a long time so best to have a few bits just incase u do get hungry. If not, I'm sure your birth partner will have them :) hope this helps n good luck! X
