Did my water break?

I am 36 weeks pregnant and was sitting in the car when I sneezed and felt a small gush. My underware and pants got wet but not enough to be soaked. I am wondering if it could have been my water or I peed myself.

If it doesn't smell like urine and, after you change, a pad becomes damp it is most likely your water.  If you don't continue "leaking" it was probably just urine.
When my water broke with my 2 yr old it felt like a gush of water and there was definitely more that kept trickling after the original gush.

I really hope it was pee! Funny I had asparagus for dinner and my pee smells like it. Whatever came out did not smell. I am not leaking anything at the moment.

If you still have some leakage after or start cramping I would head to the doctor immediately.  With my first my water broke as a slow leak, so it can happen but the total should definitely be enough to feel soaked.  Otherwise you may have just tinkled a little.  Perks of the conditon!  Congrats!

If you aren't still leaking anything then chances are you peed yourself.

It could be that you peed but just in case I would check with the doctor to make sure it's not amniotic fluid
