Scheduled csection at 38 weeks?

Wondering if I am able to schedule my csection at 38 weeks or if they will make me wait. This will be my third csection. I had my second baby at 35 weeks because I went Ito labor, my first I was two weeks overdue and had to have an emergency csection after 17 hours  of labor.

There is a law that they can not induce or help labor along before 39 weeks. I was 37 week and dialated to 5 and having regular contractions and my dr. told he his hands were tied until I was 39 weeks. After 4 days which one of the nights were in the hospital I started to dialate more I had my baby. I was 37 +2.

They don't schedule them until your 39th week usually due to insurance reasons unless there is a medical need to do it sooner such as high blood pressure or labor.

Unless there is a medical reason I don't believe they will schedule a csection or induction until 39 weeks
