I have switched when i was pregnant with my 3rd son from a midwife to a regular obgyn. When the was pregnant with my 1st son i feel off a 2 step ladder and broke my tailbone, it healed just enough to re - break when I gave birth. But back problems also run in my family and it sounds like you have a crushed or blugging discuss in your lower back. They most likely can't determine what's exactly wrong till after birth but I definitely switch to a better doctor. They might want to even take extra precautions when you give birth because of loosing the and mobility of your legs. I deal with extra back n body pain everyday and being 30 weeks with my youngest son at 2 yrs old.. I can't imagine not being able to walk! God Bless you and your baby! Also about your baby's scan I would ask your new doctor to redue it. And see if any other tests are needed to make sure your baby is healthy!
Switch. Nothing worse than going to a doc where you're just a number. Request all your records and have them handed to you that way they can't "forget".
