I'm not sure what u are talking abt? Can u explain what that is?
Yeah, I've never heard of this either... I'm actually at the hospital right now to see if I'm in labor and if I am, I'll just be getting an epidural asap.
I recently gave birth and I used a tens machine that the midwives offered me. It was a God send in the early stages, really distracted me. I'd never used one before so didn't know what to expect. But given that I had no pain relief whatsoever I needed something and this helped for me. Once I got into full established labour though I couldn't deal with the tens aswell so I removed it lol. Good luck :)
A tens machine is a little machine you can buy and it has wires and pads that attach to your back. It gives you like a pleasant electric shock massage and distract s you from Labour pain. I had it on all the way through my 3rd Labour and unknowingly had it on medium setting, was trying to turn it up but only found out how after I had my baby. I did ask for an epidural in the end but my partner sent it away when I had my back turned.. If pain gets unbearable I'll be asking for an epidural I think. I've read the pethadin injection effects the baby so not too keen on that.
Ask if your hospital have a tens machine. But yeah epidural should help better.
Unfortunately, I wasn't in labor. On one hand, that's a good thing bc I have a few more things to handle before he comes. But on the other hand, I just want this child out of me.
I used a tens and gas and air only. I held off till I was 7cm be for I put the tens on and turned it up as the Labour progressed x
