bleeding after a sweep?

I had my 38 week check up a few hours ago and my dr did a sweep to hopefully speed things along. Now I am bleeding a little bit. Its a brownish mucus like substance (sorry).  This Is normal right?  Does this mean it worked and I could be going into labor soon?

I had a sweep done yesterday and just a little cramping here and there and still nothing I'm 4 days past due! I was wondering the same thing though cuz everytime I wipe I get the same color mucus discharge that comes out but it's a little more clear like if u were to just have sex type of clear but then sometimes it's a little yellower then that if that makes any sense lol!

I had a sweep Thursday and just pressure and darker mucus.. no contractions yet.. but my friend had her sweep and went into labor later that  same night and baby was born, so it depends  if your body is ready.. goodluck!!!

I really hope this means it worked!  I am desperate to have this baby. I plan on it being my only one and my dad is home for the next week only. I really want him to be here when his first grandchild is born!
