Well we'll see what the new Dr says. More then likely he'll be csection. So idk if that'll matter. But the more that I think about it the more I'm ready for it.
If ur doc is comfortable then u should be too I hope they wouldn't do anything to put u or ur baby in jeopardy!
Well my state didn't approve my insurance. I barely got approved for state help. Barely. I live in Arizona and I applied for health insurance in February. I've gotten the run around. So I wasn't able to get my prenatal tests that I needed done. I have it now so I'm going to getting all the testing done. I was seeing a Dr but they only gave me ultrasounds till my insurance came in. But that office was extremely unprofessional and they were rude. If i had a concern or question the lady would roll her eyes or scoff. So she wanted to see me yesterday but I already made an appointment with a nicer drs office. My mother referred me too. I didn't want any of those young girls handling me anymore. Or eyes rolled at me for asking a question. Or laughed at from my concern. So now I'm waiting till next Friday to see the new Dr. I refused to get anything done at that office.
You typically get a pap when you first start prenatal care and later on towards the end if you plan to deliver vaginally to make sure there are no infections or anything you can pass on and harm baby. It should be OK, don't stress!
I'm feeling confident about it now. I guess I scared myself by reading stories about how women had a miscarriage after a pap. I remember getting one at 5 months. Had a bad yeast infection. But yeah. I'm gonna try to keep my cool.
Im 7 months and had a pap smear done nothin happen
I'm 7 months but want to see a Dr. I'm nervous but its gotta be done was just wondering if it was safe. I'm sure they're fine.
I haven't had anything done (I have a midwife, not a doctor), so I assume if there's any paps coming my way, it'll be safe or they wouldn't do it. I don't know if I am having anything like that, though. It's been a really hands off care so far. I'm 5 months.
Which state?
All women's health and prenatal care has to be covered in the US now. You can't be denied for being pregnant
I'm in Ontario Canada, so as long as you have a valid health card it's covered here. Sorry Im not sure how it is in other places. I Was surprised it actually wasn't as uncomfortable as I expected it to be. Best of luck!
It is fine to do, it is just a swap on your cervix
Its my second child. Due to my state I barely got approved for insurance. They've given me the run around for 5 months. I haven't had any prenatal care done. No testings. They only gave me 2 ultrasounds to see baby. But now its approved so I can get all testing done. But was just feeling a bit nervous.
I had one done today and I'm 34weeks + 3 days...but this is my third baby, not sure if that makes a difference.
