Why so rude?

I don't understand why my mom and sister have to be so rude...idk if I'm just being sensative or over reacting to their comments...so every time I go over to their house they have something bad to say like  today "wow you look fat today!" I was telling then today how happy I was cuz I got to see my baby sucking her finger in a US and my sister said "isn't she still just a blob?" Omg! I wanted to cry I'm almost 18 weeks how can she say that? My own sister and mom how sad:'( sorry everyone just venting...

Oh wow. That is mean. I had that problem with my mom. She doesn't like the father of my baby. She would say negative things about my baby's future. I boldly told her that I didn't need her negativity. If she continued to talk that way about my baby that I would rather not share this experience with her. I stopped her dead in her tracks. She's been very nice since then. Speak up. You're the one with the hormones. Use them. Lol

My husband and I got a lot of negativity with our third from his side of the family, because of their actions we have decided to leave them out of the loop on our fourth. It is sad, but a lot less stressful for both of us. We can be happy and excited without any stupid or petty remarks.

Your mom and sister shouldn't talk like that to you...they are supposed to be family...gosh, you are not over reacting, you shouldnt put up with their negativity, i have stopped talking to my mom for not supporting me, it may sound extreme, but i couldn't put up with her putting me down..and i dont want my children to grow up being made fun of just for misspronunciating a word, if i were you i'd have a talk with them and if they cant support you and stop their bad comments then maybe you should visit less often

The fat comment, depending on your relationship, I wouldn't take to heart.. My mom and sister would do the same thing all in fun, but the blob comment could be because your sister just doesn't know about pregnancy and growth at all.. Maybe show her a video of what a baby looks like at the week your in.. I wouldn't worry too much, pregnancy hormones always make things worse than they are lol good luck!

Wow.. that's very rude.. expecially coming from your mom and sister...I think you should mention to them that you don't expect those comments coming from them..People are very mean these days, but I think you should find love and support inside of a family and not rude comments!

Don't let them get u down. Some people are just negative.  Don't let them steal  your joy.Your sisters probably jealous.

Maybe they are jealous cause you are so happy. Either way that's not cool! If they are going to continue to be like that you should stay away. You don't need all that negativity when you are doing so well.
