Exclusively breastfeeding..

Hey guys Im in need of help/advice anything that will get my baby to take a bottle ... My baby is 3 months and I been exclusively breastfeeding for more than 2 months at first she would take a bottle with no problem becasue she wouldnt latch on properly so I would just pump and give her a bottle .. it was painful but all I wanted was to breastfeed so I kept ontrying and trying untill it got better she later on started refusing bottles .. I didnt care about that because I only wanted to breastfeed but now is not that I want to give up on breastfeeding is just that I would like to have a break from time to time .. I cant leave my baby with anyone also because she hates bottles no one also can feed her ive tried sooo many timea to get her to like bottles again but nothing she hates then Ive tried different ones ive tried the comotomo one and nothing she just cries and cries Idk what to do theres no other way to feed her ... if anyone could help please ?! ..

They never got my neice to take the bottle, even when my SIL was gone the whole day and my bother spent the day trying. Their ped doc told them to try that. So kids just won't do it. An OZ is better than nothing. Just warn anyone that baby sits.

My SIL has this problem, she went back to work at 3mo. She as told that if the baby was hungry enough it would take the bottle. Her daughter proved to be quite stubborn, so they had the nanny bring the baby to the office for lunch. Then they got the go ahead from their pediatrtion to start her on rice ceral and bananas at 4 months. It is common to wait until 6 months.

Your baby will be more likely to take a bottle if you are not there. If you are giving the bottle, the baby knows the breast is available

I had this same problem I had to pump n dump with mastitis when my 1st was 2 months n went back to boob only back to work at 12 weeks n he wouldnt take more than 9oz while I was at work 9 to 12 hrs. Best luck I had was latex nipples an just experiment with u being there n not being there an dont let her get too hungry then she'll really want mom n try giving bottle when shes drifting to sleep. I even made my husband wear my robe hoping it trick my son with my scent right there but really I was an all night diner for most part until 6 months when we started him on cereals
