Um quitting is a HUGE accomplishment!!! Good job lil mama!!! Now just don't pick it back up after the baby comes...seen wayyyyy to many women do that!
Congrads hun that's exciting I'm starting to slow down to and its hard I'm 9w6days. And am at like four a day my only problem is is it a stress relief for me like right know I'm freaking cause I'm always cramping and I guess its normal but still scares me so I smoke
That's really good congratulations!
Congrats on quitting keep up the good work!!!!
Quitting something your so addicted to takes a lot momma. I'm still having a hard time saying no to soda and crave it horribly and that doesn't even compare. That's awesome keep up the good work!
Congrats! I'm about 9w and have cut down drastically and hopefully I'll be done completely by next week!!! Super hard!
Congrats FruitLoop and good luck to the rest of you ladies that are trying to quit. I know how hard quitting in general can be, I've seen my parents battle with it. I'm very proud of you all. :)
Congrats! I'm down to one a day and pretty sure will be completely done by monday. You did something big for yourself and your little one. Very proud of all the quitters out there.
Congratulations. Thats great. Good for u and babygirl.
I quit smoking before I got pregnant but I do know how damn hard it is. I was a complete *****! So I say good for you chick. If any one judges you screw them you did it and you accomplished it and I for one can say I'm very proud of you!
Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
a suggestion for your SO, my husband switched to an electronic cig 3 years ago and has never looked back. He actually likes it more than he liked cigs and he smoked for 16 years.
@Lizzie - quitting soda is no easy task! new studies say sugar is just as physically addictive as cocaine
I quit a week b4 i found out I was pregnant. Just wasn't appealing to me anymore. I did have a few times this winter where I wanted one but knew it was best just not to.
Congrats to you! That is a HUGE accomplishment! Way to go mama!!!
Congrats it's a hard habit to break!
Congrats!! not many people have the will power, be proud of yourself. :-)
Congrats girl. I can't imagine quitting something so addicive. U rock! Keep it up :)
I know EXACTLY how you feel!!! I was 5 wks when I found out I was prego and I smoked 1/2 a pack a day and when I found out I was prego I smoked more! By wks 7 I couldn't stand the smell of a cigarette and everybody around me smoked! I thought it would be hard to quite but it really wasn't don't get me wrong to this day I still get a craving for 1 but it's been 4 months since I've had 1!!!! So BEST OF LUCK TO YOU AND IT'LL GET EASIER!!!! Jolly rancher gummies candy got me thru the ruff days lmbo!!!
Thank you for the support guys!! I expected a lot more negativatity tbh but you all are amazing!!! And congrats to everyone else who had to give up something for something better!!! Its incredidble what our bodies do for our babies, so its only fair we do something for our bodies!! Keep up the good work and good luck on your pregnancies!!
I quit a few months before I found out I was prego. If you still struggle with the habit, not the nicotine, I suggest you buy an E-Cigarette and buy 0 mg liquid. You'll get the sensation of a cigarette without ANY of the side effects. My OB said it doesn't harm my baby PR myself. I rarely ever use it. I quit Dec 2 of 2013 and found out I was prego April 17. If I have a craving I just take a puff of the e-cig, using it has helped curb a lot of the effects you suffer from quitting and if you use 0 mg liquid you're doing absolutely no harm. Even though I rarely touch it, it's nice to know it's there if I get the urge, which I haven't had in a long time. But if you've gone 4 days already, you're definitely strong enough to go without anything. Congrats! Your baby is thanking you, trust me.
Congrats mama!!! Quittting is never easy the jatdest part is not falling back to it. Proud of you and this accomplishment! Keep it up. :D
Congrats! That's one of the hardest things I ever had to do and its so rewarding one your activity level gets back to normal and your baby will want to cuddle with you as you won't be smelling like smoke. My oldest didn't want anything to do with me after I would smoke because of the smell but I've I stopped the cuddles were so worth it.
