Facebook post about herbicide and breastfeeding

So I Facebook a lot and this is what I received in my newsfeed. That's there's traces of roundup in our breast milk.

Kinda scary to think about. But here's the website if you wanna look it up. Maybe I'm looking into it too much.

Even baby formulas are being recalled bc of toxic chemicals. So i would stick to breastfeeding bc its more benefical for your baby. Also, i recommend checking your food labels and baby products for natural stuff and no chemicals

Great idea to start buying organic and local!!!! We have been doing it for years . Unfortunately most food you get at the grocery story is full of chemicals gmos pesticides and meat is full of hormones and antibiotics.  (Monsanto all over it)   when we started eating clean we noticed a big change in health.... clearer skin, more energy, healthy weight loss. I even got pregnant after so many years of trying...... our groceries are even cheaper because we dont buy any boxed pre made food or snacks.... not to mention its a huge plus for the environment. ,.,, there is a great book called the world according to Monsanto were you can find great information about all that.... it also a documentary.     :)

That's the link to the specific study on glyphosate (Round Up).  It's a recent pilot study that isn't meant to be "official" by advocacy groups in hopes of spurring the scientific community to do more extensive research.  The write up is extensive and obviously tries to replicate scientific findings while still being accessible.

Turns out there are a whole bunch of studies about levels of pesticides and contaminants in breast milk worldwide.  Some are just about the levels, I saw some on theorized effects, some on specific countries or regions, some commission levels in different countries and regions.

If you want to look up studies go to www. Googlescholar .com (I put the spaces so it wouldn't block out the site) you can look at peer reviewed journals and actual scientific studies, I don't know if they have anything about this particular subject but can't hurt to look

Right... I read it and started doing some research and found just simple articles. Nothing in depth. However I did talk to someone who does farmers markets and sells his veggies and fruits and meats without hormones or pesticides. I think I'm going to start shopping for them there instead of a grocery store. Not just for the baby. But overall health and to support local businesses in my area.

Well, I absolutely wouldn't be surprised if it was true due to the toxic nature of chemical pesticides.  Also, fighting Monsanto to get a good study on traces of Round Up in breast milk might be difficult.
