I'm not sure what to do myself... We are both first time parents, he didn't get me a "gift" but he proposed to me on Mother's Day so he surely made the day special for me :) it's so hard to match that!!!  @smattos1021 I think I may have to steal your idea :)

I'm a ftm too, and maybe this is a bit mean,  but he didn't get me anything for mothers day so I'm still a bit bothered by it. Not like it's a big deal but it would have been nice if he went out of his way. I don't plan on spending anything but I was thinking of painting on my belly to say happy fathers day and sending him a picture since we are 4hours away from each other. He got a job in California so left about a month before. I'm just finishing work out in Vegas before my move.

I'm due on the 25th, he didn't do anything for me for mothers day, but I did get him a card signed from our daughter for father's day. That's all he gets though...lol

Im getting my husband a card, giving him a massage and a photo album of our sonograms and other pictures we've taken while pregnant. Also spoiling him all weekend with whatever he wants to do and cooking whatever he wants to eat. He celebrated Mothers Day for me last year when we were trying to conceive and made this year very special so I wanted to do as much as possible.

I got mine an xbox one lol BUT I owed him....he always goes all out for me. Perhaps you could like....write him a letter about how you feel about him being you babies dad? I'm going to do that...I'm just going to tell him how I feel from the heart. :) I usually make him an awesome dinner too!

I got my b.d. A few "daddy" items like a shirt and a bib. I did give it to him early because he happened to move my car for me and seen it in my back seat. And he absolutely loved them. He wore the "this guy is going to be a daddy" shirt to work the next day and to one of the appointments.

I would just get him a card. Or find a poem and frame it for him.
