not putting on any weight

I'm 11 weeks now, and have actually lost a pound since becoming pregnant. I'm never hungry, but force myself to eat, but it still doesnt seem to do anything. Are there any tricks, or ideas such as protein shakes that are good for the baby, or great snacks that I'll actually want to eat every 2 hours? Any advice would be appreciated!

I went through this same this. I lost 8 lbs altogether gained 2 back and then lost one. Baby is fine and growing and I feel like I look ginormous! I am almost 31 weeks and the doc says it is fine. As long as the doctor doesn't have an issue and ur baby is fine try not to worry. :-)

I would not worry at all.  Can be totally normal to lose weight in the beginning.  You will make up for it later.  I promise.  Be glad you aren't gaining any weight yet ;)

Its ok to loose a bit of weight at the beginning. As long as its not stones ur ok  u will prob gain weight later on. Think I started tk gain weight after 16 weeks. Lost about seven pounds at the beginning but made up for it since. As long as ur eating healthy n keeping busy ur fine. If u have morning sickness n cant keep food down try eating smaller meals more often. Every two hours prob fine. Just enjoy

It's still early for you and totally normal. I'm almost 20 weeks and have only gained 2 pounds.

I've lost weight also because of my nausea. my pants are way too big now. my Dr said to eat what I can and the baby will get the nutrients it needs. he says not to worry and keep taking your prenatals. I lost a lot of weight with my first daughter and she is perfectly healthy.

Peanut butter is good, has the protein in it that you need.  Oatmeal is also good if you can eat it.  Losing a few pounds isn't going to hurt anything.  A lot of moms do during pregnancy.  I lost 20lbs with my first...and my second I lost 40 and didn't gain in either.  The baby will get everything it needs from you.  Just try to nibble on something during the day...Good luck!!

I didn't start gaining weight until later into my pregnancy so around 20 to 25 weeks. I wouldn't worry about it too much maybe you will start gaining weight later on like I did. As long as your doctor isn't concerned I wouldn't be either.
