First time pregnant

I'm 13 weeks and have no insurance to seek for any check up. Heck, I haven't gone to get a check up just yet but this Friday I am for sure. Should I go to a local clinic such as planned parenthood or elsewhere? Any open suggestion would be great. Also, I tried applying for Medicare but it says I need to be over the age of 65? I am 25. If anyone can get to me with informative info that would be great. Thanks so much!

In my state they also give it to you automatically if you're pregnant in fact here once you apply you can just go in to the doctors office and be seen right away bcuz they know it's a give in that you'll get on it so they know they'll get paid. Talk to the receptionist and make sure they give it automatically to pregnant woman and if they say yes try to make an appt right away with an ob/gyn and tell them you have applied for medicaid and your just waiting for the approval notice but seeingas though your pregnant they should get you in on the basis that your agree to pay if you don't get approved but you'll get approved they made me do the same thing

Yup it's Medicaid not Medicare. Go to your local health department were there can confirm your pregnant and give you a paper stating that you are pregnant. Some places will even do it for you. Bring proof of income if any and proof of where you live. Most places it only takes 10 days to get on it. Also ask about wic which you get milk, ex....

Google Medicaid and it should pull up the offices closest to your area. Idk what state youre in but in Missouri they will automatically accept you since youre pregnant. Then theyll send u info in the mail and theyll pick an OBGYN for you. Depending on your income, everything (prenatal care) should be covered 100%.

Medicaid. The only think you would need is proof of pregnancy n proof of income if you have any.  The local health clinics should have social workers that help you out with the paper work.

Try medicaid its been a few years since I was on it so how things are now but its worth a shot. Congrats on your pregnancy!!!
