41 weeks and still waiting

I am 41 weeks as of last Thursday and I am still waiting on baby. I really want my baby boy out so I can see and hold him. I have been patient enough and am tired of waiting. I have been doing everything to get him out and I have even been relaxed about it. I am starting to get stressed now and can't help it.

This is number six for me. With my last I went into labor a little over 41 weeks. I had to be induced with my three before my last and my first I had at 36 week's. I am having him natural and not at a hospital, if I wanted they will induce me at the hospital.

Is this your first pregnancy? The will normally induce you if you go past 41 weeks if it's a second pregnancy but your first you. An either go into labor two weeks before or two weeks after... Good luck just relax

I think it has to do with your provider, I noticed with midwives they will let you go longer as long as baby is ok. I went 42.2 with my second because my midwife don't prefer to induce. I ended up being induced anyway because my scan indicated that there was not enough fluid around him anymore. With my first, I had a midwife under a physician practice, she was more opened to moving the prices on a little faster, I had that baby at 38 weeks...this time I have a doctor...I'm pretty sure they will move this process on quickly.

so lucky! There are incredible benefits to baby being in womb longer. I wish I could go to 42 weeks but my dr insisted on 39 weeks and then I have to deliver by c sec. :(  look up how much it impacts their IQ and brain development by staying in the oven a little longer -- it will help ease you. Good luck!

With my 1st daughter, I waited 42 weeks. All though my doctor help me by lubricating vagina a kind of chemical. I stayed in hospital about 12 hours before I gave birth. Be patient.
