labor time hereditary?

Does anyone know if labor is hereditary?  If women tend to have childbirths like their mothers?

No definitely not my mom had me an my brothers all vaginally and went into labor on her own. Me on the other hand don't go into labor on my own was induced with my first but ended with a csection. Second I didn't go into labor so had to have a csection and will also have a csection with this baby.

Not sure about that either. I was 6 lbs even and my daughter was 8 lbs 3 oz exactly like her dad

I'm not sure about labor, but my doctors have said that unless you have medical issue during pregnancy (like gestestional diabetes Or preeclampsia) your babies birth weight will be very close to your birth weight (the mother, not the father.)

I don't think so. My grandma had labors that were 4 hours or less, my mom was I  labor with her children for minimum 18 hours and longest 48 hours and my active labor with my first was 13 hours.
