Given birth to a big baby?
has anyone given birth to a big baby and then given birth to smaller babies? Or were they all big? My last pregnancy i was 2 days late from my due date and my baby weighed 9.6 lbs. i gained like 60 lbs and im wondering if that was why or if it was also because of my husbands genes. His family has big babies.
My 1st child was my biggest and i didnt gain hardly any weight she was 8lbs ,my 2nd was my smallest so far, she was 6lbs 2oz, my 3rd was 7lbs 8oz and my 4th was 7lbs 3oz .
My 6 year old was 10.01
On my 5th pregnancy (10 day till due!) All mine big 8lb8oz smallest - 10lb5 biggest!!! Expecting another biggun. Good luck! !

My first baby was 8lb 6oz,my second 8lb10oz and my last baby was 9lbs 2oz ...i dont know about genes,im not a big girl and neither mine or hubbys family had big babies
My first girl was 9lbs 3ozs, I didn't put a lot of weight on though I was heavier than I am now. I'm now 28+2 and this little girl is already above weight according to ultrasound. I am a lot lighter this time and still haven't put on the weight I lost in the first trimester but she's growing alright! Im a healthy weight now but at the lower end of the scale so I was worried baby wasnt getting enough but the scan says otherwise! lol. In regards to genes there has been medical studies done that determine the man's genes play a large role in birth weight. I looked it up because me and my brother at full term were tiny (5lbs 6ozs and 6lbs 4ozs) and my husbands family have massive babies! So I knew my babies weight had to come from somewhere! lol
I have, my first was 7.4lbs, second 7.1, 3rd was 7.15 lbs all over 21" long, daddy's family is very tall, genes play the role just remember its not only him, the baby is half you, i have read here that some moms gain a lot of weight and have small babies, and some moms dont gain too much weight and give birth to big babies
