Glucose screening failed

I failed my 1hr glucose test and they said i had to do the 3 hr one. Has anybody passed the 3 hr one even when they failed the 1hr one????
Im nervous about having gestational diabetes :(

Last pregnancy I had gd and my baby was born very sick from it I had to take my blood sugar 4 times a day and while I was in labor they checked it every hour!  just take the test it's better to know so u can future what other tests need to be  done to protect ur baby! I've passed the 1hr this pregnancy but my doc said I will still take the 3hr to be safe....good luck it's nothing to mess around with

I did. I failed the one hour and then I had to do the three hours one and it sucked so bad but I didnt have gestational diabetes they said that happens a lot actually.  Good luck and hopefully everything will be alright.  (:

I failed the 1 hour with my 2ND child and passed the 3 hour.  I've passed the one hour with all my other kids by eating eggs right before the test.  Good luck!

I failed my 1 hour and passed my 3 hour. I cut out sugars for a week before my 3 hour and drank extra water. Best of luck to you

I failed my one hour test and was so nervous about the three hour test this pregnancy!!! I passed it though!! What a relief!! I hope you do too!!! Good luck!!

I have failed the 1hr with 2 babies but passed the 3 hr. I also failed both with my last 2 pregnancies and Gd is serious. You change to a high protein diet and yes be careful what you eat. Depending on how well its controlled depends on if you have to test your sugar daily. I test 4x a day. You alsoay need several meds a day or shots. I take 3 pills a day and shots with my last one. If you ignore it you can Loose your baby.

Oh man I missed my 3hr appt today I over slept im sure u will pass just try not to eat sweets and no stress ..I probably wouldve failed because of stress so next week I will take test.. but if u do get diabetes its easier to treat my sister had it pregnant she got on a gd diet.. birth went well good luck hun

Most people fail the 1 hr one(myself included) just cut sweets and carbs 3 days before and fast after midnight before your test and you'll pass. Also remember drink plenty of water.

I have it and yes it ***** but it's not as bad as you think...you will have to cut out sweets but that's the worst part..gl !!
