confused...

Just recently I have been noticing some dark brown discharge. It reminds me of when my period is ending and it's really light! I'm just wondering what could this be? This is my first pregnancy and I'm 34+4. I've arranged to see my midwife this week but she really is useless but don't know what else to do? Hopefully someone can help me or give me a little insight as to what I'm experiencing. Thanks in advance.

I've been going crazy googling stuff lol. Some say it's the start of a bloody show but all this is new to me. There's no bright red blood just dark brown but it comes occasionally it's not always there. Thanks for your replies :)

Since.your.close.to your date it could even be .bloody a show everyone's is different some pink some brownish red. Either way if you want.to feel.better then you can.ways go.to the er. They'll do a ultrasound and check.your placenta the baby and the heartbeat. Its always reassuring if you don't.mind the.wit sitting there. :-) good luck momma your almost there!!!

Dark brown usually means old blood I had this problem my cervix was thinning and it scabed and when I peed I would wipe and brown blood would come out! As long as it's not bright red and covers a pad in 2-4 hrs ur ok but check with ur doc! Or if it does turn in to bright red blood go in to l&d!
