Question for already mums!!

I had my baby girl a week ago today, I have stitches as my labia tore in half during birth.. It is so sore and stings so much when I pee, has anyone else had bad tearing and if so how long did it take for them to stop hurting?

I was given stuff to help me clean and with pain when I left the hospital. Did they not give you any of that stuff?

And yes, also the mommas baby bottom balm spray- didn't help much with the pain, but seemed to speed up healing.

My little angel tore me from front to back....ouch! The thing that helped me most was Tucs- the hemorrhoid pads. Cheap and worked great! Just dab them on very very gently :)

You could try pouring a jug of cold water down you at the same time you use the toilet.  it certainly eased it for me

Ive tore mine twice!. With my first was the worst though. Also split in half so I got stiches all the way down...the spray my hospitol provides is a miracle worker though.  This time around I did some research and theres a product you can buy at target, online and not sure where else but its called mommas baby bottom balm. Ive heard great things! !. So I wanna try it with my last baby..

Yea I no it was a lot of info but I wanted you to understand I knew what pain you feel near there it's not exactly the same area of the cookie but extremely close.. yes visit a drug store it's probably 12 dollars or so pretty cheap for the benefits... Cause girl using the bathroom was hell but with that it was so much better..

I had a 4th degree tear, it took about 2months to heal and feel somewhat comfortable to go to the bathroom. I used a spary bottle with water and just sprayed while I went to the bathroom. I also sat on a donut. Dermoplast spay is amazing especially with a bag of ice. Hope that helps. Good luck
