HmmMm....mums tink of their babies first b4 demselves...dnt b diff..eat plzzzzzzz
With my first pregnancy I lost a lot of weight but it was not because I wanted to.. I was just not hungry and I would sleep a lot. My doctor was a little concerned but when I was 30 weeks I started to gain weight. You do not have gain 50 pounds. My coworkers doctor told her it's healthy to gain around 15 lbs. Don't worry about the weight and just make sure the baby is healthy!
I think if you are serious about being a good motheryou shshould worry more about giving your baby the food it needs instead of you and gaining weight! I have 3 boys and 1 on the way, it's always been up and down with the weight. I have had to go through the pain of lossing a child at 20 weeks, trust me in the end all you want is a healthy baby and You can always exercise and diet after the baby. Not judging just hope my perspective helps..
I also lost weight for the first half of pregnancy, not that much it was more like 20 lb. Had also some to take from so now Im on the healthy side and gaining slowly and that is the main thing. Im currently 35 weeks. I didn't loose weight on purpose, it was just that I could just eat tiny meals often, like a fruit or some baby carrots or a baby portion of a meal. I wouldn't worry ;) I calculated my supposed weight gain to be in the range of where I started at, no mather of the calculated starting weight, it all turned out to be in the same range. Im 5'8" so I calculated on that. My doc thinks Im healthy and doesn't worry either ;)
I'm in the same boat. I'm 5'4" and weigh 159 lbs. I was dieting prior of getting pregnant from my last pregnancy 5 years ago! I'm scared that I will gain weight and not lose it. I'm only 12 weeks and I'm hoping that I can maintain my weight and not gain much more!
Sounds like it might help to stop focusing on the weight at all- just focus on eating healthy and looking at your portions. Your doctor is the best source for what is healthy for you as far as weight- but it does sound like you might be worrying about it a little too much. Just remember your baby needs the good nutrition- beyond that, it's just a number so hang in there!
