Has this happened to anyone else?

I am 39 weeks tomorrow, and my doctor swept my montane yesterday. Just now I was on the toilet, and I had so much pain and pressure in my vagina I had to stand up quick because I was scared he was going to fall out. I am only having light contractions nothing major, but I was wondering if someone didn't  experience bad contractions , but more pain in your vagina and it meant that you were in labor??

I had 3 sweeps done and i was in labor a few hours later on them all..yes i have felt the pressure you are talking about more so than the pain at first..sounds like the sweep os working well for you..hopefully it will all kick off for you very soon and you will have your little bundle soon..best of luck :)

Thanks a lot, I'm going to see if my contractions get worse and longer. We shall see if he is ready to come :)

Every time i had a sweep i went into labour the following day. I would trust your instinct. After the sweep i had pressure but didn't go into hospital until my contractions were consistant and strong. Good luck!
