So just a question.. I'm now 31.5weeks along and I feel like in the last week my belly has actually gotten smaller...:s.. I think maybe the baby dropped a little or what.. I really don't know... I'm not loosing weight.. still bag the same discomforts I just look on the mirror and in expecting POW .. and instead I'm seeing what I feel is a smaller bump.. I've been walking a lot more.. idk .. any ideas?

Sometimes the baby will move into your back and it makes your stomach look smaller. My sister Carries in her back so she always has a tiny bump

I have days like this, I think its mainly the position of the baby. Some days I look huge, like I'm trying to smuggle a basketball and other days I feel smaller. You should talk to your doctor though. Better safe than sorry.

I had a friend who had this happen. She went to the doctor for her 32 week check up and mentioned it to her doc and when he started feeling around he said she was right. Well they did an u/s and baby was fine but turns out her amniotic fluid had been leaking very slowly over the past few weeks. She said she never even noticed, just that she had discharge but never felt a gush, her pants were never wet, etc. They said her fluid was dangerously low so went ahead and delivered her baby. It could just have been baby dropping like you say, but if your concerned id get it checked out just to be safe. :)  p.s. i think were due the same day, oct 31? Cuz im 31+5 also :)
