hospital

I have a feeling when i go into labor im going to be alone. I have no one here where as family and what not where i live .. i have my bf but the way he sleeps and never answers his phone .. i need a backup plan. My hospital isnt far.. like ten mins away at most .. i just wanna prepare myself.. has anyone else been by themselves at the hospital?

I'm so sorry you are in this situation. I would try to get your bf to start staying at your dorm with you. You should not have to be alone during your delivery. Or find a way to get him to be able to hear his phone ringing at night.  I hope you can figure something out!!

I live in a dorm at school, my famy lives a state away so thats not an option. My friends here dont have a car or anything. Im mentally preparing myself because i know its gonnabe tough . My situation isnt that easy...

I would say the same thing. Have your boyfriend start sleeping over close to yur due date so you can wake him. Or get a doula, or a friend you can count on.  Sorry hun no family can come and stay with you or could they come right before the baby due and stay till the baby arrives?

Do you and your bf not live together?  Any way that you can stay with hum or vice versa when you are getting close to your due date so that you can wake him up when it's time? Whay about any family?

Yes I did it alone on my 3rd 1 I was there all alone the meds kept me in & it tho its a lonely feeling I pray I never experience again & u either!

There will be nurses there to help you thru. My husband was with me with our first. Went to birthing classes and my husband didnt seem to pay attention during any of it. The nurse is what really helped. Been thru it so many times they have different ways to help you if you want.
