Help..

I have a really bad cough like it's really bad and I cough alot and it's a hard cough, I'm 35 weeks and my stomach is starting to hurt from all the coughing. Is it that bad ?

I also have  cough, i am pregnant for 16 weeks. My doctor told me to take ventolin expectorant for 4-5 days. Its my 2nd day of taking the said medicine but my cough didnt change a bit. I am also relactant in taking medicine though she told me that it is safe.., can i also ask for advice please...

I m also having a very bad cough.my doc said that some women get cough during last trimester and it will go away now after delivery.you must take steam,it helps a lot.drink green tea and cough syrup,take benadryl.

I would go to your doc to find out what's causing your bad cough. I'd be more concerned at this point with what is causing such a bad cough. Your abdominal muscles Are just being strained from coughing so hard and so much. Bottom line is a cough that causes you to cough hard to the point where you have abdominal pain and/or rib pain needs to be evaluated. Good luck!

My nurse told me that taking a Benadryl helps suppress a cough, and doesn't hurt the baby.  She said only one at a time, but call your doc and ask.  Good luck!
