Just found out

I just found out that I am around 18 weeks pregnant I was taking my birth control so that I would not have a period. I know that's not the correct way but my cycle is so bad and painful and I don't have insurance I went to a clinic who told me how far along she thinks I am but I'm freaking out bc I am not showing at all, no symptoms, and no movement. I have also been taking my other medications not knowing I was pregnant. So my question is ... Do you think everything is ok with the baby and also where can I go with no insurance?

Also you need to apply for Obama care if you don't have insurance your already in your second trimester you want to get prenatal care asap I live in wa state and we have a thing called pregnancy aid  there's mid wives and they provide other prenatal care I'm not sure I've just herd of it.

I didn't know I was Prego until around my  late first trimester .  I actually got Prego a month after I got my tubes tide I never had a period right before or after my procedure so I didn't even expect pregnancy I was on some pretty strong migraine meds and even some pain meds for a fracture tib/fib . I was also smoking cigs and was an occasional social drinker on the weekends . I had NO symptoms of being Prego . Like I did with my other 2 children or even gained any weight I actually lost a few lbs cuz I was working out . I found out actually by going to the ER for stomach pain that had lasted a few weeks I thought maybe something went wrong with my tubal ligation. They took me into a ultrasound and sure enough baby was on the screen . I about crapped my self and all I could think of is all the meds smoking and even a few weekends I went out for cocktails they told me I was only around 10-11 weeks . Well they were wrong when I went to my Obgyn and they did there own ultra sound I was in my late 14 th week I felt so bad and guilty my doc assured me that my baby looked healthy  and not to stress about it and to make sure I quit everything which I did the day I left the ER .my doc told me that he's had patients that do a lot worse things and continue through there pregnancy smoking or using there pain meds and there babies were fine and on the other hand there's women that have never smoked or used a control substance and there babies were born with health problems. The best we could do for our unexpected unborn child is to quit everything and do as much healthy stuff for our selves and babies.

Youre probably going to have to get insurance at some point before you deliver. You may qualify for Medicaid and if you don't, you'll probably at least qualify for insurance subsidiaries and breaks if you go thru healthcare.gov. You could probably sign up in a few hours and have insurance within a few weeks. In the meantime I'd ask the clinic you originally went to for advice and get some prenatals. Best of luck!

Im not sure if you baby is okay, but first off b i would sign up for badgercare  (i had no insurance and i signed up for it and it was a blessing on my half) and for the moment I didnt feel my lil one more until i was almost 23 weeks. And some people dont show right away, my friend (she was normal built) didnt show until she hit almost 27 weeks. And for the symptoms some people dont get them, some people get it bad. Just see if there is a free clinic around your area to go to. And good luck! But also congrats!
