Hiccups?!?!

I got the hiccups today, everything I've read says that they are bad for the baby. I had for about 5 min, I am 8 weeks along, and have only had them this one time. I was also eating when I got them. Anyone know anything about this? Should I be worried?? I've had 2 ectopics and am very paranoid something is going to go wrong!!

Thank you all! You have all made me feel so much better!! I've had all this really bad nausea and all that, but these hiccups freaked me out more than anything else. Lol. Must be the hormones...and being paranoid because of the past. Thank you all again!!

I've never heard of that either. I have hiccups in the morning, sometimes, but they don't last as long as yours. Hmm, I don't think hiccups are bad for the baby. I can't really control them from coming on. Don't stress yourself out, mama. :)

Wow, I've never heard that! I would think the violent puking I've done would be a lot worse for baby than hiccups. I've had 3 mc so I definitely know the paranoid feeling! Just hang in there!

Lol I'm sorry to laugh but I have never ever heard that us mommies having the hiccups is a bad thing. They are a natural thing and i don't see how they could cause trouble. I too have had an ectopic I know how you feel. Just relax, it's all you can do.
