I hoping that it does go away. My doctor gave me some pills & it did help in the beginning but now I feel it's slowly not taking affect. But I do enjoy food a lot now then in the beginning of my pregnancy

I had this.... it's because your blood volume doubles in your 2nd trimester. This taste is actually blood. It does go away!!! I am 24 weeks now and haven't had this hell for 3 weeks nows.

I'm 21 weeks and the metallic/acid taste in the mouth is going nowhere its traumatizing. I compare it to hell because you can't eat nothing with gladness like before. I force food down the throat. It's nasty n gross.
So I went to Dentist and he said this may last my whole pregnancy. to blame it on the hormones, and  bla bla bla .
Sorry I don't mean to sound like I'm complaining and winning. After all I did ask God for this pregnancy.
Let's hold on a lil longer.

I have it a lot and I'm in my 2nd trimester it passes me off, because I can't eat so I haven't gained a pound which is annoying my doctor, however with fruit like pineapples & watermelon it's not that bad
